On Respect
On March 5
th, 2015, Freedom Area Middle School partnered with Camfel Productions to offer our students a “Quest for Respect” assembly. Students participated in an interactive, three screen assembly on having, showing, and earning
respect. In the following weeks, students met by grade level in the auditorium to discuss the meaning of this assembly and how they can continue to show respect for others and for themselves. Attached is a copy of the PowerPoint that students used as a discussion starting point along with several key concepts discussed with students. As parents/guardians and as individuals interested in our community’s children, I encourage you to review this PowerPoint and use it as a reference when talking to our children about having, showing, and earning
respect. Finally, I would like to thank the Freedom Area Middle School PTSA for funding “Quest for Respect” for our students!
